The updated edition of the ISTQB® Software Testing Glossary, originally translated and published in 2014, has been prepared with the contributions of the Glossary Translation Working Group members of the Turkish Testing Board. The “ISTQB Standard Glossary of Terms Used in Software Testing Version 3.7” was taken as the reference source, and the document has been made available to the information technology sector.
The updated edition of the ISTQB® Software Testing Glossary, originally translated and published in 2014, has been prepared with the contributions of the Glossary Translation Working Group members of the Turkish Testing Board. The “ISTQB Standard Glossary of Terms Used in Software Testing Version 3.7” was taken as the reference source, and the document has been made available to the information technology sector. During the localization process, consistency was maintained with the terminology used in disciplines closely related to software testing, such as business analysis, usability, user experience design, software development, and project management. However, it should be taken into consideration that language is a living and continuously evolving structure, and that some English technical terms may not have exact equivalents in Turkish.
